    A Minnesota Girl Captures Cuban Images

    Olivia Crutchfield is an eighteen-year–old photographer based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. She started photography in the fall of 2014 and enjoys shooting portrait photography.

    A Tribute to Baseball

    Charles is a practicing physician in Eagan who has been a fan of baseball cards since childhood. He has worked with D. Nguyen to create a selection of 140 cards of the top baseball stars of the negro major leagues. This exhibit will feature 20+ images, all original oil paintings, that will also be made into a baseball card set of the 140 paintings.

    The mission of MAA is to educate, encourage, and inspire visual artists of all mediums and skill levels, offer fellowship and a supportive environment for creativity, and be a vital presence in the community through our programs and exhibitions. MAA started in 1937 and has had two juried exhibitions each year since its inception. We are an all inclusive organization which shows works in all media: Sculpture, oil paintings, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, pastel, and collage as well as drawing, graphic work and photography.

    Man and Woman at (Art)Work

    A duo exhibition from self–taught emerging artists Dan Stallsworth and Tiranke Sidime. Stallsworth’s abstract paintings explore the connection of color, space, and movement with inspiration from his surroundings, memories, and emotions. Sidime studies mark making and handmade pattern, through form and line with playful presentation. These works reveal the artists’ process of self–discovery and artistic investigation.

    Artworks embody the qualities of chaos that are can be seen in toss patterns, abstract works, and works that are not bound by purposeful composition. The pieces encompass frantic gesture, nonsensical pattern, and a general homage to the discordant nature of the universe and the world.

    A collaborative exhibition featuring artists Brian Nagel and Nick Kelley. Their work is inspired by the North Woods of Minnesota, and cultural influences of the past and present. The pair first met during The Show's annual Co Lab exhibition, which pairs together professional and self-taught artists to form creative connections and interact with the art community.
